Julius (Juile) Schwartz. creator of DC's Silver Age, has died due to complications from pneumonia in the hospital. He was responsible for bringing back heroes such as the Flash, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel, Superman, and The Justice League of America from the 1950's.
He was well loved in the fan community and enjoyed going to comic book conventions. A biography mentions "the way to find him at a convention is to seek out the best looking woman on the premises. Julie is the guy she has her arm around."
Funeral services are planned for Monday on Long Island.
