You get a special CD that has an emulator written for the DC. I think mine is called "nester" or something like that. You'll probably need a special program like disc juggler to burn the cd, because the DC requires a certain amount of noise (iirc, it's like 2.5 seconds or something) at the head of the CD for some copy-protection bullshit.
Basically, you put the DC emulator program as the boot file, and just toss a bunch of regular NES roms on there.
Oh yeah, and you might want to ask the "emulators" group, not the lifestyles board. =P
It's really an awesome idea. You download this program and burn it onto a disc with a bunch of ROMS (games ripped from cartidges) and then you can play just like a real SNES, or NES, Atari, Commodore, and any of the other systems they make the players for. The roms are illegal, though, so they can be a little hard to get a hold of. Kazaa has some pretty large files containing a couple hundred roms for various systems (including NES and SNES). Check out this page for any questions you might have as they could answer them way better than I could.
Yeah, I have these, they're great. Part of the DC's downfall was that it could play copies of CDs with no problem. I use DreamSNES, [D]Colem (colecovision), Dream Pac (Pac-Man) and NesterDC 6.0 (NES). Also Alcohol 120% to burn them (it reads discjuggler files just fine.). Do a search on your fav file sharing prog for Dreamcast, and you'll be set for months.
