No.

AT&T had a backroom deal with AT&T for exclusivity in the US five years from the launch date; what Apple got out of it, we don't know. But Apple made similar and shorter deals with other carriers in other countries. Those deals have expired now, so outside the US, multiple carriers carry the iPhone per country.

There were some rumors that Apple would break the 5 year deal early, which Apple didn't respond to, and an AT&T representative literally laughed at when asked about during a Q&A session. But it's hard to imagine what AT&T could offer Apple now to keep the deal exclusive when the contract runs out in mid-2012.
