Okay, so I'm watching The Price is Right, one of the all time best shows ever, and they're giving away these guitars, which I've never heard of, that are apparently made "just for girls." And they're all flower and heart and what the fuck ever shaped, basically anything but ROCKIN' OUT, and I just wonder would I want my daughter playing one of these GAYASS things? I mean, getting her into guitars is all well and good, and if it takes one of these monstrosities to do it, well, ok, but I'm buying the little bitch an SG, or better yet, a Lita Ford 6 and 12 string double guitar. HOTTTT!!!

They sell those at this local indy guitar shop here by Detroit. When I saw those, I happened to be with my semi-feminist ex-roommate, and she flipped a lid, saying how she was sick of people "Betty Crockering" shit just for girls. I have to agree with her on that one. I never really saw guitars as being sexist in any way, despite the industry being male dominated. The instruments pretty much remained sexless until in the hands of the people who played them.

when i was 14 and i first saw a daisy guitar i thought it was cool and cutesy. making things pink so girls will like them is lame, but i think the guitars are super cute and maybe i'd buy one; maybe i wouldn't.

Any self-respecting acoustic guitar has to have a boot-hole in it!

Hold on. What girl who wants to learn to play the electric guitar will want one of these? Isn't part of the desire to play the guitar a longing for an image of rock n' roll cool? Who stands in front of the mirror imagining their tennis racket is a freaking butterfly? These things are fucked.

However, if Jellyfish were to reform I would hope they'd play on Daisyrocks exclusively.

You laugh now, but in a few decades Japanese prog rock bands will pay thousands for them.

I think Dimebag should ditch Washburn and hook-up with Daisy Rock.
Kerry King would rock with one, too.

I'd have mad respect for any metal band that dared play with those. Ironically or otherwise.

I like them. I would not play one, but it is no more ridiculous than the iron cross guitar, the retarded flying V thing, or the coffin shaped one. Or the Brian Setzer model, what with the whammy bar and dice knobs. Or those double necked ones from the 70's and 80's.

ohh i love drawing fried eggs. by that logic, a fried egg guitar would fucking rule the hemisphere.

i would definitely love to rock out with a daisy guitar and live out my 14 year old girl dreams, though i am blessedly no longer 14.
