Tim Burton's Ed Wood has been recalled......

I went to Suncoast Video today to pickup the DVD edition of Tim Burton's Ed Wood, and they said the release was cancelled due to some legal snafu.

Does anyone have any info on this???

If you see it somewhere before it gets yanked off the shelves, snag one for me!!!

apparently a bunch of copies were released, as planned... but within hours of their release.. stores took it off the shelve, due to legal problems about the movie (I don't know what they are, but apparently there are some).. and most places have said it will not be sold, amount of time was usually reported as "indefianetely"

I read that they recalled this title about three weeks ago with NO explanation. I bet you anything they want to add "From the Director of Big Fish", onto the front cover.

Anyhow, I remember the same thing happened with the "Beavis and Butthead" DVDs. Tis a pity.

Given the amount of money the studio and retailers stand to lose by pulling the disc at the 11th hour, it stretches credibility to believe that's the only reason. what retards. same thing happened with the Duel dvd, prices went above $100 on that, and if you look now you can get one for less than $30

that said those $200+ buying dumbasses will feel like bigger dumbasses when they see all the copies that are ending under $30 already.
