Sifl and Olly Appreciation thread

I wanted to take a moment to ask if anyone here ever watched this TV show on MTV.
I remember the first time I saw it. I was back home, bored late at night and flipping through the channels. When I came upon this show that consisted only of two sock puppets chatting, my jaw dropped. I don't think I moved a muscle for the next five minutes. I watched it whenever I could, and tryied to sing its praises to all my friends, but no one had even heard of it. If I'm going to find anyone who appreciated the brilliance that was this show, I figure it will be here.

Sifl: "If you tell us, I'll get my friend here to go easy on you."
Gremlin: "Okay, I tried to hijack your show becuase-"
Sifl: "GIVE 'EM THE HOSE!"

Ah the good ole days. I wish I could remember Sifl n Olly more vividly. Only fuzzy memoies remain.

Olly: What the hell is she saying?

Sifl: Shhh. She's a teacher. What were you saying ma'am?

Caller: Whonh whonh whonh.

Silf: Peppermint Paddy? That's a weird name for a kid.

Olly: What?

Caller: Whonh whonh whonh! Whonh!

Sifl: Gee, I'm sorry. That sucks. Okay, well, thanks for calling.

Caller: Whonh whonh whonh.

Olly: What was that all about?

Sifl: I don't know. I guess she doesn't make enough. She works for peanuts.


It took me a few times to watch that before I realized they were making a joke using the name of the Charlie Brown comics strip, "Peanuts." When I figured it out, I was flabbergasted.

If I remember correctly I think I used to tape those shows, but I never did get around to marking what tapes are what and now they are all in a big box up in my attic.....and I really don't feel like going threw hunderds of tapes trying to find them, damn it

i completely forgot about that until you mentioned it... but yeah, i stopped watching it regularly around then. the videos somehow managed to ruin the entire show.

I loved it when they sang "Just what I Needed" by the cars. That rocked my world.

I have every episode on VCD Even the missing 3rd season.

My favorite line from that show is:

"YOU FORGOT I WUZ A NINJA MOTHERFU-(BEEP)-ER!"

When I was a senior that was like the best show in the world, god I wish it was on dvd

about once i week, i check up on S&O on eMule just to make sure i still have everyhting thats out
