Christopher Moore is in many ways the definition of a successful writer. Since his first book Practical Demonkeeping was released in 1992, his books have become more ambitious as his writing has gotten sharper and funnier. Oh yes, he’s also a funny writer, which is not to say that he’s an unserious writer, but he’s one of only a handful of American novelists who want to make the reader laugh. Whether he’s taking on religion in “Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal”...

Moore has been one of my favorite authors for years. I've read everything multiple times. The man just can't seem to fail. I think I've loaned more of his books out to my friends than any other author and not one person has been disappointed. A fucking awesome man.

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff is still my favorite, but Moore's vamp series is still cute.

I make a point to see Christopher Moore whenever he comes around for a book tour. It's always a fun evening.

I finished Bite Me yesterday, and loved it! Maybe it's because I live in the Bay Area, and know the area and characters so well, but the Vampire books (and Dirty Job) rank among my favorite books of all time.

I've loved all of his books so much....but...being a fractured Catholic...Lamb always had a special place in my heart.

Just read Bite Me, it was a little short, but a good ending I think. So far Fool is better.

I've only read Lamb. Four times. Planning to read his other books asap. Although I've only read Lamb, I think he's kind of a more accessible Tom Robbins. I've read all of Robbins' books, but they are not as easy to pass off to friends and have them appreciated.

Still though, I need to read the rest of Moore's work before I categorize him as a lesser/easier Robbins...

I love Christopher Moore. It's so neat to read an interview with him! Lamb, a Dirty Job, and Fluke are my faves. So cool to read this, I love suicide girls more and more everyday! smile

Picked up the first book in the "trilogy" – Bloodsucking Fiends, thanks to this interview, I must say I'm really enjoying it. Funny as hell.

All of his books are quite captivating tell you the truth bite me was a lil bit of a let down but its awesome how even with the changes of the years from when he wrote some of his books he still keeps the essence of his work as if time does not matter aka he has the style of a timeless writer biggrin andlike how he can link characters while still keeping their own stories their own smile idk i just love his stuff
