I just made a payment by phone, and when writing "paid" and the date on the bill I realized that today is 02/03/04.

Yes, I am a geek.

I love when that happens.

Oh that is cool. I like dates like that. Guess I am a geek too. I went nuts when it was 9-9-99. It was also the night of the VMA's and NIN performed maybe that was why.

And that was when the Sega Dreamcast came out!

my parents got married at 12:34PM on may 6th, 1978. may god strike me dead.

I remember that too. I didn't think it was a big deal until I saw it on the front page of the local paper. Then I realized that it WASN'T a big deal, and there just wasn't any other news that day.

Americans write it: month/day/year, so it works out that way.

Well that depends on the context of course. If you were *really* after a reason to celebrate then you would be in the states this week and the UK next month. Not that I've ever been so shallow about these things in the past
