I think a group for glasses/contacts/people who can't see worth a shit would do well. Especially since even people who don't wear glasses think glasses are hot. And people who don't need glasses wearing them anyways to look cool like us.
Haha, i would totally join this group as well. I've been wearing glasses since i was about 6yrs old. totally blind as a bat without them xD. Wish i could afford some sexy lasek though
I've been wearing glasses since I was in 2nd grade. I wear contacts too, but contact lens care is a major pain in the ass, so I usually only wear them for work and when I'm gonna be out for most of the day.

I've worn glasses since 6th grade. I have contacts, but am not a morning person and usually forget to put them in.
Me with glasses though:
Oh, well I guess it's already my main picture.
It took me forever to be able to put in contacts, so I'll probably never get surgery.
I only started wearing glasses 2 years ago at age 24. I actually prefer them to contacts...I have a huge freaking head and glasses help frame it and keep me from looking like I belong in Freaks. In fact I moved to bigger glasses recently...attached pic related its me after a dumb ass friend tried to take a picture while my eyes were still dilated.
I wear glasses I have right bad double vision and will be getting cutty cutty surgery within the next year probably. It's scary though cause of the risks, but I have a tilt to my eye and glasses will never fully fix it and it'll keep getting worse.. I will still have to wear glasses after surgery for my short sightedness though.
I wanted the laser surgery for ages, but my vision wasn't stabilized enough to bother. Now it more or less is (at terrible), but I'm not sure I see the point anymore. I'd much rather switch to bifocals when I get old than have to adjust to whipping out reading glasses any time I need to focus.
I've worn glasses for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until 2002 that I really embraced them as a fashion statement and wore large black frames exclusively. Even though black frames seem to be popular again, I still get the random compliment every now and then, which is nice.
The idea of touching my own eyeball scares me still so I have never worn or even tried contact lenses.
When I was young I used to wear my parents' glasses until I got dizzy in hopes that it would fuck up my vision and I would one day...have awesome glasses.
