Fairly interesting, but I'm a little disappointed he didn't explain why he thought Quantum of Solace was disappointing. If he wants to pick any Bond flicks to criticize, the stuff between Goldeneye and Casino Royale are a lot more obvious examples of sucking so hard it's like they were trying to fail at life.
Then again, I'm not sure any of them are really the sort of thing that should be looked at too closely. The whole franchise is full of warts and you either dig the schtick or don't.
I really liked the interview. I thought that it was fair, informative, and interesting. I figured that you would give Martin a whole bunch of shit about Mel's meltdown, but after you hit the high points, you let it go. I was impressed and I will be looking forward to reading more of what you have to write in the future. Bonfirejeff
