I'm the same genetic mix as her and one thing that pisses me off is people always bring it up and immediately try to get what Asian flavor I am. I actually get pissed. I've always seen myself as American and that's it. If you're white, nobody ever asks you where you're from.

The rock star thing I totally understand. I wanted to be one until I started actually being a musician. It sucks. You work with a bunch of people who, let's face it, are emotionally retarded. It's taken a whole different level with this emo crap now. I thought normal rock and roll was emotionally retarded and then emo is a whole new level of emotional retardation.

The anal thing is interesting too. I'm of that generation where most of my married friends never even tried anal. Now I think with the younger generation anal is the new oral.

I don't get it. It's an asshole. Shit comes out of it. Where's the sexual desire in sticking it there? To each his own but no thanks. I'll pass. I was actually bummed when Tera did her first anal because it actually ruins the look of the asshole. (Uh oh, I just pissed a bunch of people off).

Anyways, really good interview. Props to Tera for her honesty and also for breaking the gender barrier. She called her own shots. I actually find that sexy in a woman. I like women who can start a successful business.

I always got the impression that Tera was quite sweet, to be honest, I remember seeing a POV clip of her and it just seemed so forced and un-her. She always seemed like a woman who liked sex, so did porn, rather than being into porn, per sé - there was an enthusiasm to her performance, certainly, but often there were just inklings that there wasn't a lot of heart... howe does the expression go? If you can fake sincerity you've got it made. i think Tera has it made - nio fake sincerity required.

Reading that interview confirms a lot of things, for me, not that I've followed her career THAT closely but, as a segué into an interesting read, that was well-done.

Wow Paul you lucky guy. Tera's very pretty in every picture I've seen her in. She looks absolutely adorable there.

I remember watching Island Fever with my wife and we both loved it. No dialog, just Tera Patrick being her beautiful self and enjoying sex in Hawaii. Beautiful backdrop and pre-Tera doing anal scenes. Island Fever was perhaps one of the best porn movies I've ever seen.

Wish this has been more interview and less editorializing on the part of the interviewer. Far less.
