Starting Over

I'm Wondering if anyone here has ever really started over.

Changed Towns and Changed Friends

I'm fishing for an inspirational story or advice how to start again in a completely foreign environment

I have not (or at least not since college), but I know lots of folks who have.

Where are you looking to move?

I am just about to do so! In a few weeks I'll be moving to Columbia, SC to start all over and hopefully do better this time

I moved to the deep south for a job, 6 months or so ago,

I've done it loads of times. Including college, 4 new towns in 4 new states in 10 years.
The internet has been a great help, and sites like SG have helped me meet cool local people in real life.

Alabama. That does sound exciting.

Joining SG is a good idea. Most of my friends are from SG. I do drive over to Orlando to see some of them. Good times though.

So, yeah, join your regional group. Go to events.

I've lived in 7 different states, and this is my 2nd time in FL. Starting over is a blast. I recommend it!
