Hair Dye Virgin Pt. II

I too am considering coloring my hair. I pitched the idea to a few friends and got a very polar response, both strongly for and strongly against.

If I decide to go through with coloring my hair, I'm thinking of dying the ends about 2-3 inches in a deep red or a dark blue all the way around. I thought about bleaching the ends first so the color is brighter. I've also thought about dying all of it dark blue...

The thing about my hair right now is that it's light brown [chocolate], as opposed to the dark, dark brown it was before the sun started fucking with it.

So... what do you guys think? Should I color it or just let it be the boring shade of brown that it is now?

Sometimes I say you go all the way or you don't go at all. This is one of those times.

Why? Because this here:

is shitty looking. It's the same hair w/ and w/o flash from camera. I haven't taken pictures with dyed hair so I can't say it's applicable for everyone. Oh wait, I don't take pictures without my hair dyed either. Spiffy!

go for it. and even light brown hair will make colours turn out pretty dark, bleach it first.
