Hello, im not sure if i should be posting this here, but i was just wondering.
Can i open a bank account in any bank of the U.S. with a check from other bank of the us? or not?
As log as you can pass the KYC (know your customer) and patriot act rules you can open a US bank account with a check drawn on another US bank located anywhere - there are no regulations to prohibit it.
However the bank may have rules not allowing it if fraud is a concern and will prohibit or limit your transactions until the check clears.
Best is to visit or call the bank where you want to open your account
