I always think of that scene in the Royal Tenabums where they are in the closet filled with all the games, and wish that my old friends were still around to play with. Alas we have all moved on, and away, and I don't have anyone to play with. But my brother and I have been putting puzzles togeather a bit lately, it's engaging and fun.....

The old Dune boardgame by Avalon Hill is awesome.
Army of Darkness by Leading Edge (I think?) is great fun as well..
I also like:
Zombies
Scrabble
and loads more.. but, those are my favorites.

Of course. We rocked the twister at the SG Calgary New Years party..

Otherwise Trivial Pursuit is king..

I'm also in the development stages of Risk/Pursuit.. a meshing of Risk, Trivial Pursuit, and alcohol.

I actually carry a travel scrabble set with me when I'm just bumming around. I'm constantly on the prowl for a good game.

I adore board games. We played Trivial Pursuit at my birthday party.

Of course, we were all so drunk it took 4.5 hours to finish, even though we were in three teams. tongue

Trivial Pursuit rules. Twister was a blast. I lack the patience for the endless hours that Risk games take up.

Try the playstation version of Risk then. Trust me...it won't take long at all. I bought that one a few years ago, and since it had been a while that I had played Risk, I set it to the easiest difficulty level. I have never been so completely owned in all my life. I played that game on and off over the course of 3 months, and the longest game I played lasted about 20 minutes. mad

Stratego and Battleship are awesome...although I usually get my ass handed to me in a basket. I still love playing though.

Me and Fiance play scrabble alot, I always end up having to let her win because if I don't I live in fear that she will rip my head off in the middle of the night.
