McFarlane Giger Line Canceled

Today I discovered that the long awaited H.R. Giger line of Todd McFarlane, Spawn etc., has been canceled. I know that there are alot of Giger fans on SG and thought they should be aware of this.

Tragic really, however the pieces were going to be very pricey. *le sigh*

What's McFarlane up to other than those movie memoribila stuff? And Giger for that matter? Last thing I saw of McFarlane was this God awful coming of age movie with that kid from T2.. McFarlane did these comic book interludes, which were quite literally a million times more entertaining than the rest of the movie.

They had pictures at Spawn.com However "they" took them down. Supposedly they pieces are either suspended until further noticed or cancelled. It was a very quiet action.

That does suck,but truthfully I wasn't all that keen on the Tortured Souls series and don't see how this would have any better.

The Giger Line was actual paintings and sculptures done by Giger... my fave Li II was supposed to be done. However now the line is postponed or canned all together.

Man. That really really blows.
