There is nothing like an old fashion letter.
With emails and texts nothing seems personal and from the heart anymore. Now do.y get me wrong I am a texting fool but there has always been something about a hand written letter that warms my heart. And the hearts of others.

This was found somewhere after New Brunswick but before Ontario.

I also really love sending homemade cards. My old roommates were really big on crafting and would host an 'art night' every few weeks! We got to share some really cool ideas with lots of different artists in our neighbourhood, and even skyped a few people once! I'd love to send cute little gifts around and do swaps, photo swaps, post cards, sexy Christmas cards, all the goodies :]

Anywho, I don't want to ramble, I'm excited to try out soon!

I love writing and receiving letters, both hand written and word processed (prefer to write the former but with a baby/toddler in the house sometimes word processed is the only way of squeezing a letter in between day job and childcare lol)

I personally 'screen' each applicant and if you have not received a message from me within a week of applying check the group to see if your app is still pending. If it is not then you did not pass my screening and please do not ask message me and ask why. I will not reply.

If you pass the screening I will send you a personal message asking why you want to become a member. Your response will be posted in a thread within the group. After about a week you will find out if you've been accepted or not. I will then ask you to send me your mailing address. Once I've received that, you will get your acceptance message.

Please note that your address will be posted in the group. If that is not something that you feel comfortable with consider getting a Post Office Box if you still wish to join.

I had a few penpals when I was a kid and I regret not continuing with it. There was this coolest French Canadian girl in Toronto that I miss talking with.
