Stylin'! But I think you're describing an off-the-rack with alterations, rather than an actual tailor made suit.
Still, that's beside the point. You can get a nice looking suit for a good price, made-to-measure or tailored after manufacture.
It's a perfectly valid point in general, especially if your body type is very close to a standard off the rack size. But your comment was a rseponse in a sub-thread about the price of tailored suits specifically. [For the record, I still think the author's pricing is way too low. If he's getting good made to measures for $400 it's a steal, to the extent you can't really write about it as a likelihood.]
