Safeway sells a bag of bagels for $2, which is a good deal, but they expire within a couple days so I put them in the fridge and then just reheat them.

Bananas can be put in the fridge to prevent overipening; they turn brown but the insides are still good. I don't like cold bananas as much though.

most things fruity or sugary are better frozen.
especially grape or lemon fanta unti it gets slushy
aaaand.......

chocolate popcorn.
