What would you do to make your country better?

I know i would Organize a clean-up crew to clean-up the rubbish and declared weeds from our roadsides and water ways!
But what would you do?

overthrow democracy

I clean up the drunks, addicts & unwanted.

i create health and wellbeing through teaching yoga and meditation, and offering massage.
i donate the above services to non-profits for fundraising.
in the summer i volunteer at the rowing program for the disabled (blind people in boats on the water!)
i also work with drug addicts and alchoholics
i grow my own food, and participate in my local coop and farmers market
and i have sex with strangers in the park

You would give them a bath or shower and delousing?

i'd eat a klondike bar.

Right now the best I do is always tip on meals and I try to encourage freshmen to join my film projects to give them experience.

What I would(and will) do is join the Peace Corp. I'm applying as soon as I graduate in February. I really hope I get in, I'm not too sure how marketable my Film knowledge will be in impoverished countries(Nollywood maybe?) but I would do my damndest to help people and represent my Country in the best possible light

on a serious note though... i am a firm believer that using the parliamentary system of govt is a lot more efficient and stronger than the congressional system we have going on here, so i'd probably make the switch over to parliamentary.

on a lighter note... i'd keep democrats (liberals) in office for life. =P

Actually I wanted to know from people. What they would do to improve their Country as in personally that would help to benefit themselves and other people, their environment, lives E.T.C.
Whether as a volunteer in a program or activity, an a expression of an idea that could help improve the lives and environs.
We as a people tend to overly rely on the Government to solve our problems and in the end can glue the process into something that could of been done right then and there. I am not Talking about Anarchy or something that would lead to a possible criminal activity.

I would probably work on some kind of civil service program that would give homeless people jobs, no matter how meager the pay, and some form of bunk housing or shelter. If such a thing already exists, it's not really doing all that great a job.

I'm a teacher... I'm doing my bit.

I would take all the politicians, bankers and Corporate executives and board of director members that are compensated in excess of 100x's there lowest paid salaried employee and push them into a quarry stocked with alligators, if they lived I would feed them to bears...
