It's kind of ridiculous how many people want this. Like, really ridiculous. Like, people paying $100+ for invites on eBay ridiculous.

It's especially ridiculous because even if you get an invite, it's so exclusive that probably no one you know will be on it, and therefore useless.

Which is why all my invites are going to people I actually know. Now if Google would just hurry the fuck up and send them...

If you think it's the next big thing, and are a developer, that's a worthwhile investment.

Personally, I'm more curious.

I believe Ebay is removing these ads as fast as they go up. Its a violation of their TOS.

I really want to have a play on wave. I love having new toys. But I'm not going to spend money on it. And what's to say that the ebay auction is genuine anyway?

I paid $38 for a Grand Central invite off eBay years ago. It was totally worth it since the service is incredibly useful and didn't become semi-public (as Google Voice) until recently. It still requires an invite.

You could Yahoo it. Or maybe even Bing it.

Currently, they're taking a few days to process invites given, and newly invited people don't get invites of their own to hand out.
