When I think of "bad minority casting," I think of all the great actors who didn't get enough roles, probably because of their ethnicity.

Some people might think Dorothy Dandridge, Paul Robeson, or Josephine Baker, but even more importantly... how can you watch Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles and not give him a 12-picture deal??? He was fucking amazing in that movie!!!

Dorian Harewood and Michael Beach, also sadly underused, to name two...

You know what I hate? When they cast black actors in roles written for white people. Here's a black actor playing a white guy's son - a role that should have gone to Rick Schroeder, Matt Dillon, or some other talented caucasian but didn't, because of systemic Hollywood racism.

Hey thanks Denzel for keeping white actors on the street. Do you have to appear in every fucking movie?

President Idiot trying really hard to make someone, ANYONE, laugh. Judging by the silence around the immediate area of my face, I'd say he's fucking failing.

What about all of the Anglo-American actors who played Charlie Chan in all of those shitty movies from back in the '40s and '50s?

*edit*
And the "crying Indian" from that pollution commercial in the mid-'70s?
He was Italian-American.

as far as madonna in evita- ethnicity wise, it was probably actually pretty damn spot on. as far as nationality wise, yeah, madonna is pretty damn american.

and yes, raquel welch is not cuban... and i'd love to know when cubans popped onto the earth, and also what ethnicity cavemen are.
thanks.
