stella causes probably 80% of all pub fights in england...

hoegaarden's good, it tends to catch up with you just as the fresh air hits you on exiting the bar...

i will drink beer only if no hard liquor is to be found or if a futebol game is on...

the beer choice of course must be made depending on which countries/clubs are playing... but for someone who is drinking beer WITHOUT the soccer (a big mistake)

i would recommend Killians Irish Red... Black and Tans (Half Guiness Half Bass Ale... Mmm-mmm good.)

I also am fond of Corona.. Dos X.. Cerveza Presidente is miles above those two though...

the supreme beer of all time?

Cerveza Pilsener

I can remember having to carry crates of those around when i was about 12 (empty.. i was too weak to carry them full) to return the bottles to the store 9 bottles in each crate... each bottle about as long as my forearm is now. Mmm-mmm good.

It's all about the PBR.

A good Washington beer is anything by Pyramid Ale House.

Also recently tried Shafsbury Cream Ale in Canada, very, very good.

A truly Québécois traditional beer, one of my favorites.

Triple fremented golden ale, refremented in the bottle, 9% alc. Strong taste of wild spices.

Made in Memphis, owned by Coors, actually. They're pretty good about obscuring that fact, though.

I've become partial to the Lost Coast Porter, recently. The girl and I were recently at a place in Philly that served the 'Dirty Ho', which was 50/50 Hoegaarden and Frambois Lambic.

wow! it never occurred to me to mix my beers together. my friends and I made up a bunch of drinks from mixing soda, though (the best of which is Mountain Creme--two parts cream soda to one part mountain dew. sounds awful, but is surprisingly refreshing).
