There you go again dejajeva posting all of the greatest information, How did you get to be so clever. I really hope that they don't trash this. I just watched the Production playing in london a while which was execellent I must say. It sort of makes you wonder why they don't use actors from the productions to do the movie. I mean just think about all those months doing the same thing you know that they have it down. It makes sense to me. Oh well, cheers for the information smile

Well when they started thinking of a movie 283283 billion years ago, they were going to use Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford, HOWEVER, then Sarah and ALW got a divorce. I have no idea why they aren't using Crawford though

thanks for the awesome info. Maybe we should write to them and tell them to use crawford. I swear if they screw this up I'm going to lose it.

because micheal crawford is 62 now and i'm convinced sarah brightman is crazy. the girl playing christine in the movie just turned 17 so using crawford would be kinda creepy.

why they don't use people who actually have played the rolls and are professional singers is beyond me.

I actually just watched this yesterday as well and saw it in Toronto when I was in high school. The movie was really beautiful and the infamous gondola scene blew me away. Also the scene where they segwayed into color was done gorgeously. The movie made me want to see the live show again so bad.

The Phantom is no longer playing in Toronto at the Panteges (now Canon) Theatre and that makes me sad. I had no idea! Wasn't this the place to see it.
