That was a great interview.

I loved that film. The tension in certain scenes builds up to nearly overwhelming levels, only to explode in brutal, sudden violence.

I also see what he's saying about the revenge finale. It goes on a little bit too long to be glorious to the point where it makes you feel a little uncomfortable with what you are watching. Like violence whether it is seemingly justified as revenge or whatever have you, is just not nice in the long run.
