Hello everyone, I hope this is the right forum to place this in but here goes. I'am a sensitive guy, I like to listen to a woman's problems and hopes, I buy them flowers, I compliment them on their beauty, intelligence and charms, I can stare endlessly at a woman with great smile and who likes to have fun. I just have too much respect for women and I believe that all women are inherantly amazing and graceful. So please tell me why is it that most girls seem to like guys who only want to mistreat them? Or could it be something I'm doing wrong?

You have too much respect to look at the art the SGs put their hearts and souls into? How chivalrous.

man..
I adore women. I have the utmost respect for them. You arent alone in your admiration.

Hmm

You know something? If you cant look at pictures of naked women.. what would you do when faced with the real thing?
I mean, I am probably too sensitive for my own good.. but, in my experience, you cant be "one of the girls" or they will think of you like that...

Just my two cents.

Have you ever considered that maybe you aren't a real person?

There is a fine line between being a hopeless romantic and being just plain old weird.
I think you stepped into the "weird" side. No offense.
And welcome!

I'm not accounting this for what you feel, but I believe that most guys love to fix shit. Its true.

If you meet a girl who's cute and is going through something, we want to be there and comfort them. We feel better if they feel better. They might like being around us because they feel better. Sometimes this is chalked up to being sensative on the guy's part.

In my experiances, when the relationship is focused on this too much, it falls apart. Either the guy get sick of fixing shit or the girl gets sick of the guy trying to help to much.

Anyhow, for some "sensative guys" this rejection happens and they take it as girls not wanting a sensative guy. Of course, some girls really don't want someone sensative to hang out with, but whatever.

Well Clara its not that I don't want to look at these pics, I mean I'd melt just like any other guy when faced with such beauty. Its just my upbringing really I was always taught to treat women with the respect they deserve, though I guess it is kind of disrepectful of me to not look at the pics they have worked so hard on. I apologize if I seemed insensitive in that respect.

Deadlyeye: I deal just fine with seeing women in the nude, for me its just like looking at a well designed sculpture, perfect, seemless. I don't think I have crossed any lines, I, like all men, have my shovanistic side. I usually try to keep the whistling and crotch grabbing to a minimum.

Swoag: I have considered that, and have come to the conclusion that I am not a real person, but insanity incarnet.

dude, someone on the second "theory" thread (who's grey now) had Lumberg for a profile pic. I love Office Space profile pics! you inadvertantly made my night.

oh yeah, sometimes that girl that you befriended, that you balefully stare at across the room, who you gave the ride to, who is talking to that jerk-off poseur dude, and gave you the whole, "I just see you as a friend" speech...yah, that one. Ya know, once you get over the desperation of it all, and stop pursuing your friend, you may realize that your friend, in her relationships, is a jerk, too. Let the jerks hang out together.

there's a balance point there...
in my experience, the kind of things women want fixed are things like the sink, toilet etc... when they express problems to ya they generally want empathy rather than solutions... and men instinctively want to provide solutions.... so sometimes it's better just bite yer tongue
most girls/women i have been with want someone who can empathize with her and be sweet etc when it's appropriate and who will also not hesitate to ravish her like an animal when appropriate
I think most hetero women find testosterone to be a somewhat essential part of a man.....

Ok, so I kind of devilishly paraphrased you to show a point. Sometimes when guys say things like this, it seems like they're not treating the women as just another person. The automatic pedistal treatment seems false alot when you meet people and can be a definate turn-off. I really didn't think you were saying that btw, that part just struck with me.

Tueche Nixon, and that is a good point I am confidant when I speak to women its just most of them just don't find me attractive

Atxxta: another good point

I hope to soon unravel this enigma that we call human behaviour smile
