I'd go with Bringing Out The Dead. I can watch it over and over and not get tired of it. It's one of Scorcese's least known films...and never got a whole lot of press....but I really love it.

Here are ton of threads similar to this one.

For the record though I think my favorite movie is V for Vendetta. Maybe not a classic or a box office smash, but it's pretty rockin' in my book.

Eh, I'm hard-pressed to say that I really have a favorite, since there are so many that appeal to me at different times. Sort of like how Roger Ebert has said that on a good day, he would most like to look at Citizen Kane again; on a bad day, the original King Kong.

If pressed, I generally say that there are five movies that I find perfections of the craft:

Raiders of the Lost Arc
Seven Samurai
Aliens
Unforgiven
The Iron Giant

No real order amongst them; they are all movies that I watch repeatedly just to marvel at their craftsmanship.

Edit: Hopefully that doesn't sound too snooty.

My Dinner With Andre. The car chases, explosions and CGI are amazing. It was well ahead of it's time.

I like most people here don't really have a favorite but there are three that stand out in my mind.

The Crow.
Aliens.
Failsafe.

I think Failsafe affects me the most out of the three. Its an older movie that most people haven't heard of but it applies just as much today as it did back in the days that it was made.
