unusual pets

ok, this is not about me at all (she's the monkey, but she's REALLY a cat)
but i've noticed that people on this lovely purple site have pets like hedgehogs, geese...

anybody care if i try and get people to list them here?

I have the Olsen twin's captive at my house(Actually they are my twin Pit Bull's...Riley&Razor....but my new lady friend calls them the olsen twins)

I have a pet potato, it started out as a normal potato but I left it in the veggie drawer too long.

Does my brother count as a pet?

I was painting a house once and behind one of the shutters was a bat alseep. My friend decided we should bring it home as a pet. So we did. He was cool to watch and we tried to feed him fruit, and crickets, but he didn't seemt want to eat. We let him go after a day. It was cool to watch him though, up close and all. they have the coolest little wings. Miniature gargoyles for sure.

One of my friends has two hedgehogs named Pokey-one and Kinobi. She has them because the pet store she was working at wasn't taking care of them properly, so one day they "disappeared"...into her house. They're super fun.

Aww, I don't know if I could have resisted bringing the bat home either (I love bats!) - but I applaud you for letting it go when you realized she wasn't eating.

my brother has two australian tree frogs.
we brought them over from england when we moved from london to chicago, and then to new york.
the cool thing is, here in the columbus zoo, i saw a pair of them just sitting there.

how many people can find their chia pet at the zoo?

I want a chinchilla & a hedgehog SO bad. They are super cute. A friend of mine has a sugar glider, which is creepy and another friend has a prairie dog, which is super cool.

i want a sugar glider!!!! i've wanted one for like 10 years! what could be more cool than a mouse-sized nocturnal marsupial that eats nectar and glides around the house like a flying squirrel! i love it!

i had two madagascar hissing roaches named carl and sagan...they died though

I want an armadillo

there's this rat in my house, and technically i think ive been feeding him since he keeps eating my mac and cheese, so i'll count him as a pet.
my roommate named him Admiral Boo-rigard. or captain or sergent or something.

my friend colin is getting me a pet bug after i get back from nyc. i bet it's going to be either a millipede or a beetle of some sort. boy, do i hope it's a giant millipede.

One of my friends used to have a pair of sugargliders, and she said that they took way too much special care.

I can only find them in the wild. My friend helps me with these things.
