my dad had one for a while. obviously, it's really clunky and awkward looking. interior and dash are nice and modern, but not too flashy. but for being such a big vehicle, there somehow doesn't seem to be much seating room. cargo is good though. the opposite-opening doors are great for moving.

I currently have the Subaru Impreza WRX. I used to only ride motorcyles and now I drive everywhere. I love my car. Everybody else I know who has one also loves it. I recomend it.

This has very little to do with your question. Sorry, some friend I am.

Unless you live in california, the Scions are not available yet.

The element is built off a modified CRV platform, IIRC, which is in turn a modified Civic platform. The element is roomy, ugly, very very useful and remarkably reliable. It's also a bit underpowered and not cheap, especially compared to the xB.

Buy it, you'll like it.

Thanks.

Test drove a Suburu Forester and loved it. Will be buying it.

And I work for GM. That should tell you something about domestic cars.

I think that when the H2 came out, the Element became relatively beautiful.

My roommate just bought one about 3 weeks ago. Friggin orange. It's one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, and that is why my roommate bought it. He is going to get a license plate that reads "Phugly". I hated them with a passion until he bought it, and i made fun of it when he did, but now that i see it, it really is a great car.
And I live in Cali, and the Scion looks like a frigging rolling shoebox.... Soooooo ugly. I hope my other roommate gets one.....

I loved the PT Cruisers until everybody and their brother had one. They aren't such a novelty anymore. frown
