ok, so a comment i made in my blog got me thinking, sunlight brings me out in a rash (i'm not a vampire, honest) so the doc gave me factor 50 on prescription lol. do i spend a fortune on st tropez or is pale better?!?
I like pale! But then again, it's all about what works best for you. Girls who tan naturally and rock it = hot. Girls with freckles who wear them with pride = hot. Girls who are whiter than paper and love it = hot.
Personally, I don't tan. My bright white skin burns (bright red) then goes immediately back to white, with no tan in between.
I wear strong sunblock for my tattoos... and everywhere else.
Pale is not life-threatening. It's not just an aesthetic issue, it's a health one. Skin cancer is among one of the ugliest ways to go. If you must appear tan, do the fake stuff.

I have no idea when tanning became vogue again but I hate it. Skin cancer is not sexy.
I fully agree.
I kinda wish that whole trend would just die out.
Especially because I know far too many people around me who ARE worshipers who are getting skin cancer left right and center
Definitely pale.
Especially since I started getting tattooed....I don't want to fry my ink with UV rays!
when it comes to beauty, to me natural tan as well as pale skin can look pretty good.
when it comes to health: sun in moderation! but lots of people are careless with suncream, sunbathing and would probably care more about wrinkles than cancer anyway, unfortunately. well, and it´s not like I haven´t catched a sunburn myself. however, first of all I should get rid of that fucking smoking habit. damnit!
I love sunbathing but if I broke out in a rash, I think I would rock the pale look. Not that I'm particularly tan now. Not a lot of sunbathing opportunities in SF.
