... at the call center here in OKC. Inbound Sales. Anyone ever worked for them?

I have a hard time even typing the sentence "applied at AOL", but fuck, it pays good, has good benefits, and they're hiring, so I'll sure as fuck take it if I can.

One thing I thought was interesting was that I was asked (forced) to sign, click confirm, and even verbally asked, no fewer than a dozen times, to acknowledge that, if hired, I would be agreeing to work any shift, any time, any day, and any holiday. I was like, "Fuck! I got it the first time!"

Evil corporation or not, it's a steady paycheck and benefits, and that's awesome. Good luck! biggrin

A job's a job man...

Don't know about AOL, but I've got friends who work at Road Runner, more in the internal tech support area though. From what I understand most of the major communications companies/ISPs treat their employees pretty well.

Good luck with it though.

I'm now wondering if I take you off my friends list now, or wait till you're hired. Either way, mommy said i shouldn't be friends with TEH DEBIL (read: AOL)

if you have to call a automated system and just want to talk to someone about a problem, press "_" for the sales department and have them transfer you. its always 10 million times faster.

Any company with Jerry Stiller in their commercials can't be that bad.

Most likely, but if I can stand it for a couple of months it will damn sure solve a lot of problems. Plus it's right down the street from my house.

Did you read the fine print where it said, you agree to give up your first born, your mothers diamond ring when she dies and your left toe at thier discretion?

P.S. Do you get to keep your soul?
