is the greatest show to have never aired on Fox. Created by Ben Stiller this pilot starts off with Jack Black as Jack Austin running from NASA. Jack Austin was an astronaut who orbited too close to the sun so his brain expanded making Austin the smartest man in the world. When Jack returns from space NASA decides to take his brain so Jack Austin runs away with the help of his broke roommate. During the escape, the roommate was shot by an experimental ray gun causing the roommate to fuse with the motorcycle he was riding on. Thus, Heat Vision was born and voiced by Owen Wilson.

NASA stills wants Jack Austin's brain so they send their ex-astronaut, part-time actor, full-time assasin Ron Silver as Ron Silver.

This show is avaible online through KaZaA. Well, that's where I got it from.

I've found one ep (pilot?) on Kazaa its very surreal and not so funny in parts but Jack Black can do so little wrong in my eyes..

Yeah, I have the Ben Stiller show on DVD. A mere 20% of it is hilarious frown

The pure comedic value of Jack Black's facial expression make this show amazing.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.... FOR REAL.

Yeah, I'm a sucka for Jack Black. SPEAKING of which. What the fuck happened to that movie he and Stiller were doing? I saw a trailer for it...Walken was in it...something about VaPooRize? ENVY! That's what it was called.

Wonder if that was postponed for the Feb/March dumping ground.

I have to disagree on the Ben Stiller show.

It was hilarious when I was 12... it's even better now.

I have at least 3 pairs of soiled boxer-briefs due to it. How can you go wrong with "the Boss" cutting Gary Colman's hair?

My favorite Ben Stiller sketch is the one where he is speaking to children in a class room. "The Dark Troll will NOT get me. Will not get MEEEE!". AND Bob Odenkirk doing Manson is classic.

True, Stiller directed Heat Vision & Jack. The writers, Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, are the guys who created SCUD: The Disposable Assassin, which is a great read. biggrin biggrin

HV&J is also a favorite at The Uncabaret's The Other Network, which aired it long before KaZaA ever heard of it. plus you can talk to its creators.

read all about it and other things you'll not see elsewhere at:

www.uncabaret.com (click on "live" then scroll down to "The Other Network")

my favorite TBBS sketch:

shilling for lucky charms

Scopitone, give TBSS another try. as for me, i grateful to replace my worn VHS with the DVD.

Uncab also conducts The Unlab 4 times yearly. if you're interested in developing your own stand-up, try it!

i know i have.

This is not the greatest show in the world.

It's just a tribute.
