Ok, so I'm sure I couldn't be the only Simpsons fan here. So let's get it on with some simpsons trivia. Ask one or two or ten questions then when you answer some ask your own.
Try to include the question in your response so we can keep it all sorted out.
I'll start with the hardest one I know off the top of my head.

What state is Springfield in?

What state is Springfield in?

They called the Simpsons a "nothern Kentucky family" in the Behind the Laughter episode. Everything in the "regular" episodes is just a tease.

how old is hans moleman?

Hans told Lisa's Girl Scout troupe that he's 31. He thought it was an AA meeting. I guess all that drinkin' and dyin' makes one look old.

What were the names of the kids who saved Itchy & Scratchy Studios before Bart and Lisa got the chance?

I don't remember the boys name, but I think Liza was the girl who saved Itchy + Scratchy Studios.

Of course, I want to say Bort was the boy but I know exactly where Bort came from wink

Springfield isn't in supposed to be in any state. The "Behind the Laughter" quote was supposed to be a joke, and it is generally accepted that nothing in the specials (like the Halloween ones) are to be taken as part of the plotline for the story. We have good reason to believe they DON'T live in certain states, like Delaware (just think). However, it is my understanding that they won't be disclosed as living in any certain state. However, it is generally accepted that Matt Groening modeled Springfiled, Shelbyville, etc., after towns near where he grew up in Oregon.

What candy/beer mixture does Homer try to buy from Apu (even though it doesn't exist)?

Where did Homer once maintain the aurora borealis was taking place?

Who is Sideshow Bob's brother, and where did he go to school?

Skittlebraü- and I can't tell you how many times I've tried to make it myself...

Where did Homer once maintain the aurora borealis was taking place?

Actually, I think it was Principal Skinner who was claiming that it was localized in his kitchen (although Homer could have been talking about it on another episode).

Who is Sideshow Bob's brother, and where did he go to school?

Uh... I think his name was Cecil, and he went to that "clown college", otherwise known as Princeton... or was it Yale?

Skittle Brau.
Apu:such a thing does not exist.I think you must have dreamed it.
Homer: Ok. In that case give me six pack of beer and a bag of skittles.

Where did Homer once maintain the aurora borealis was taking place?

I don't remember any Homer quotes about the aurora borealis, but Skinner claimed that it was taking place in his kitchen.

Cecil. He went to clown college. a.k.a. Yale.

Now for my turn. What baseball hall of famer was beaten down by a barrage of Marge's pretzels?

Hall of Famer Whitey Ford! They called 'em "Whitey Whackers."

What's Fat Tony's real name (he's had a couple)?

My good buddy Sean and I made skittlebrau once. I hope to never have to have it again.

One of my favorites: What does the readout say in the opening sequence when the checkout boy scans Maggie in the store?

I know it's not "NRA4EVER"...

It's some outrageously high price, like $841 and some change... been a long time since I looked...

Cecil went to Princeton, not Yale, although I think someone above did guess Princeton correctly, although wtih doubt. wink

Homer claimed the aurora borealis was happening behind him. Principal Skinner was incredulous, "In your kitchen?" Homer maintained that that was indeed the situation.

The price she comes to at the register was what was quoted sometime in the Reagan era for the price of raising a newborn per month, or something like that.

Nope. That was Skinner and "Supernintendo" Chalmers; the aurora was in Skinner's kitchen.

Mmm, steamed hams!

Didn't she ring up to NRA4EVER, in one of the simposons specials?

Except for that was a big fat lie?

"Aurora Borealis, in THIS time of year, in THIS area, located entirely in your kitchen??"
"Yes."
....."Can i see?"

Yep. The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular.

The same episode where Dr. Marvin Monroe "died."
