New Pixar movie, but other than that there isn't much I'm too keen on. Mostly the summer blockbusters this year aren't really making me excited to see them.

I realize that sounds snobby as hell, but I don't inherently dislike summer movies or anything.

Be sure to give some historical context- The Mexican-American War, Slavery and all that- I read it as part of an Antebellum Literature class.

I want to use it to teach critical and interdisciplinary reading/writing/thinking.

I'm sure there are more, and I'm sure I won't actually see any of these in the theater (I'm really bad about that) but I like seeing the trailers.

Some quirky independent film that I will discover for myself. I tend to avoid the big blockbusters like the plague.

Really and truly! I like that the lead character is a cranky old man.

Also Star Trek.
