Whether you choose to be pretty in candy pink, electric in a shocking blue, a vamp in blood red, or a punk in a purple haze of vivid violet, hair color can make a rockin' statement. In this week's Dirty Laundry, SuicideGirls express their colorful personalities.
Fashion Notes
New York's Manic Panic have been purveyors of punk rock style since 1977, and offer a boutique line of authentic punky pigments. Their semi-permanent, 100% vegan color comes in three formulas, Classic Cream (which conditions as it colors), Amplified Cream (for color that lasts 30% longer), and Gel (for maximum staying power). For ultra vibrant results Manic Panic suggest you pre-lighten with their Flashlightening bleach formulas (available in 30 and 40 volume kits). Their site also has an excellent How To Dye page, which covers the basics, and a tips section, which offers style, technique and color maintenance advice. * Those that have commitment issues should try Manic Panic's ironically named Dye Hard wash in/wash out multi-purpose colored styling gel. * We also love Amphigory.com, which sells Special Effects cruelty-free, semi-permanent conditioning color. Hit the individual color names at this LINK for customer galleries and reviews of each hue, so you can see exactly what it looks like and how it works in the real world. * Another colorful company we like is Fudge.com. Their site has a helpful downloadable mixing chart for customized color.
Did we miss your favorite Hair To Dye For shot? If so, upload it to our Remix Album (the girls are also name-checked at this link).
Check back every other Saturday for more Dirty Laundry and let SuicideGirls show you the best way to (un)dress.

There's a brand of dye called Elumen made by Goldwell, which is actually permanent and comes in every colour... I don't know much about it though, or how many salons carry it.
