What a bunch of crybabies!

Change the channel or get TiVO, or even better assuage your guilt by taking you wallets out and do something to help; unless of course you actually roll your sleeves up and do something directly with the SPCA or other such organization.

And by the way Sarah is an amazing artist. tongue

I agree but Ashley Judd is way worse. At least Sarah isn't bashing any politicians.

Dude the commercials could be way worse, they could be for PETA.

The ASPCA commercials are an emotionally punch in the stomach, but it's for the puppies and kitties!

PETA can go fuck themselves.

Fuck you and your fucking horrifyingly depressing and incessant Breathless-Music-and-Sad-Looking-Cute-Animals ASPCA commercials. You are a permanent bummer and I hate you forever.

In addition, fuck you.

SO. MANY. PEOPLE. MISSING. THE. POINT.

I'm sure Subrosa is very sympathetic to animals suffering and whatnot, and no one knows what he does or doesn't do for animal (non-human animal) causes. Or, for that matter, what [i[anyone posting here does for the benefit of the other animals. It also doesn't have anything to do with PETA.

I believe that Subrosa was using hyperbole as a tool of humor while highlighting something that's repetitively and intrusively saddening and or depressing.

If those commercials aren't a sudden super-bummer for you then. . . I guess it must be nice.

I like this older commercial for being so understated. It's not the same cause, exactly, but it is animal welfare related:

I saw him berate a dad rabbit in front of his entire bunny family once.

I was like, "Damn, 'Brosa! Low blow! Those kid rabbits are going to lose all respect for their father now."

Then 'Brosa just looked at me and shrugged, picking up each of the kid rabbits and breaking their necks.

"Problem solved," he said, as he lit up a cigar, and got in his SUV, driving over the mother rabbit who was still in tears.

eeek

Yeah, that dude is totally mean to animals.

Seriously, I'm with the whole baffled by commercials movement, between DVR working an "off hour" schedule and OnDemand, I haven't seen a commercial in months.
