If you're hankerin' for some Joe check out Warren Ellis' GI Joe resolute on youtube. It's like 11 episodes and the showdown between snake eyes and stormshadow is fabulous.
Oh, this is good. I watched 11 episodes again last week.

The Accelerator Suits that you see in the trailer when they jump over and through the train are only featured in that one chase sequence. It's a fairly long sequence though. I actually thought it was very successful. They did quite a few different things with them during that whole thing and they were all pretty visually impressive.
So, to answer your question, it's a minor part, but was much better executed than I thought it would be. They didn't overdo it.

Well, that's better than I originally thought, because I thought I heard someone call him Sergeant Slaughter in his little cameo scene.
Channing Tatum was...okay...as Duke, though I would have been more comfortable with him as a made up Joe than friggin Duke.
None of the villains really impressed me, especially Cobra Commander. Early in the movie I figured he was Dr Mindbender, but then Destro calls the other guy Mindbender. Well I guess Zartan was okay, but he didn't have the accent, or the Drednoks!
