One of the unfortunate indignities of being a fat dude is the lack of clothing options. You basically have the option of dressing like a lumberjack or wearing a football jersey, or worse, the comic book character t-shirt of your choice to fuflill the stereotype completely. None of which appeals to me much. Anyone have any good store or sites that have anything halfway decent? I'm not asking for the world here just something too show the semi-coolness inside of me. I'm about a 3x in most shirt sizes, though depending on the company sometimes a 2x

And yes, I am working on getting thinner. Its just probably about 6 more months of working on it before I can reliably go to 'normal stores' and buy the cool skull button shirt that started me on this quest, and I am sick of my boring clothes now.

I don't know where you are in the country, but plenty of portly east coast mobsters and businessmen have gotten some pretty dapper clothes from various stores in NYC and Philly.

Boyd's Menswear in center city, Philadelphia has great in-store tailors on staff. Those guys know how to fit a suit and they have thousands in stock, as well as entire departments of good casual wear. I bought my last 3 suits (Ralph Lauren, Armani, etc) from them on sale at a good price, and I am hard to fit (6'/150 lbs). They handle name-brand American and European menswear.

They are running a big sale now, so if you're in the area it might be worth a look.

I'm skinny 115 pounds at 24 years it sucks for thin dudes like me too.

It kind of sucks when "S" doesn't really fit you.

I also recommend stores primarily aimed at fashionable black guys- they often have great pinstriped suits and 40's style stuff, and they do way better about having generous sizes.

Thank you. Very much what I was looking for.

Now if was only easier to find 7 & 7/8 hats around I'd be all set. I can't make my skull smaller. smile

Gonna say something like that.
With the Notorious movie you could possibly find some cool expensive clothes, if hip-hop is your style. whatever

Cry? Isn't your money worth more than ours, thus making those shirts decently inexpensive? Heh.

I don't know if you're talking about everyone in the film or Biggie himself but he wore a lot of very fashionable suits.
