Twilight, which I wouldn't have even seen but was guilt tripped into accompanying a friend. But that was expected to be horrible.

Indiana 4 was a let down though I'm not sure how much I was expecting from it

Most Disappointing: Indiana Jones and the Saran-Wrapped Football

Worst That I Saw: The Happening

Worst That I Didn't See But Still Know It Was Awful: A tie (no pun intended) between The Spirit and The Love Guru

Most Annoying Answer In This Thread: The Dark Knight (C'mon, people, was it really the worst movie you saw, or only the most overrated? Worse than any of the films mentioned here? Really?)

Actually I liked Indiana Jones; granted it helps if you compare it to the first sequel instead of the first movie and remember that everyone's 25 years older or so, but it was still a good Popcorn Flick.

And are there folks out there who seriously believe that TDK was actually worse than the Love Guru (you could make the argument that it's overrated - not that I'd necessarily agree, but hey - but with so much competition out there can you really say it's the Worst Movie Of The Year?!?)

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Of course I'll probably end up watching the Spirit once it comes to Encore just for Eva and Scarlet, my soul be darned.

I think I was the only person in my state who hated... HATED Mama Mia with a passion. I couldn't stand Abba before and.. I got dragged to it.. and.. it hurted my brain.. I actually prayed that a chunk of the ceiling would come down and send me into sweet unconsiousness.

Also, the Happening, and Indiana Jones 4 sucked.

I only saw Wanted, because it got a decent score on Rotten Tomatoes which has spared me most of the items on this list. The most telling scene was when the hero smashes a guy with a key board causing the keys and a tooth to fly at the screen spelling "fuck you." Aggressively juvenile, it felt like the director tried to reverse engineer Fight Club and ended up with loser main character, exposition, and violence underlined ten times and then implemented it all poorly. Also they get assassination orders from the defects in pieces of cloth.

The sad thing is the graphic novel for Wanted makes the movie seem Oscar-worthy in comparison puke

No!! Glad someone else actually knows it was a graphic novel, but it was a good read. Seeing the movie made me feel like I was watching the final death-spasms of a formerly radiant being who's soul had been ripped out it's ass.

Disagree. Wanted is the only comic book I've ever truly despised, and I'm reading Ultimatum. The only way the movie could be worse would be to make it a faithful adaptation.

Probably The Happening. I only saw it on Rifftrax, but I was pretty in awe of how bad it was. Although maybe it wasn't so terrible since I could have watched it without commentary and gotten some enjoyment if not for reasons they intended.

In which case the worst movie I saw was An American Carol, which I expected to find ironically funny, but was just rolling my eyes/becoming pissed.
