I had like about 3 this month alone.

Is there something physical in your environment that needs your attention? Is there a broken step, loose hand-rail, or wobbly chair in the house? Is there an "accident waiting to happen" somewhere in your environment?

Like I'm slipping on ice? Which I did this morning! Weird. I wonder if my brain was trying to warn me?

Anyways there's all different kinds of meaning for that type of dream.

I had tons of short fallings in dreams in my childhood, usually before I woke up. I felt thru white clouds and never reached the ground. actually I always enjoyed it even though I am afraid of hights in reality. what a pity they stopped when I reached my teens.

I have them literally every night before actually falling asleep. In fact, I am told you know when I'm asleep because I jerk and twitch one good time as I'm falling.

I hate having those. I literally lose my stomach and feel as if I'm going to never stop falling.. and I'm STUCK like that.. getting sick while sleeping due to a dream.. not cool. It's like when I get seasick in a dream.. haha

That's an interesting meaning though.. I am accident prone..

I haven't recently. But me too about having them all the time when I was young.
I have always remembered them for some reason.
Maybe I was just getting used to heights in general.
The first one I had I still remember because it was from a park play boat that
I used to climb on. tongue

I often kick myself awake just as I'm falling asleep while dreaming about slipping, tripping, or falling.

It's called a hypnic jerk and it's totally normal.

It once resulted in me kicking a girl in the ass. The next morning, I was like
"Was I dreaming, or did I... kick you in the ass last night?"
"You kicked me in the ass."
"Oh. Sorry. Hypnic jerk."
"You're a hypnic jerk."

Yup, had 'em, continue to have 'em. Not nightly, but probably a couple times a week.

I love falling dreams. I just get to let go and submit to the will of fate. It's refreshing.
