SYSTEM SHUTDOWN!!

i've been having this problem with my computer lately. everytime i connect to the internet, after a while it shuts down. a message pops up that says something like: System Shutdown- the remote procedure call(RPC) service unexpectedly terminated.

and it counts down to zero, shuts down and restarts the computer. i looked into it a bit, but can't seem to figure out what the problem is. and i'm not a computer whiz. what can be causing this problem? anybody know? it's driving me crazy.

Sounds like you have that "worm" virus that was going around a few weeks ago.

Step 1: get and/or update your virus software...run it.

Sounds like a trojan/backdoor to me.

Give this a try. My sister-in-law uses this, since the virus scan software that came with her dinosaur of a computer was only a trial version, and she didn't want to pay for it .

It works though, if you can get online.
