yeah they never told me anything during my appointment. and my doctors saw that i was pierced and didn't mention anything. then i just got railed by that bitch of a nurse.

the only thing is my dermotologist has asked me what all of my tattoos mean, and then warned me about getting tattoos too close to moles (i have several moles on my arms and back) because then he won't be able to monitor them and make sure they're okay.

the problem is, a mole appeared underneath my arm band.
and i don't think that's so good at all. nope nope.
it's not gonna stop me from getting tattoos.

oh yes, and most nurses are evil wenches. Most Nurses. my old gyno's nurse practitioner told me on the phone "since you refuse to go on the pill, i can't help you [with birth control]"
i had to (calmly as i could while infuriated) explain to her that it's not refusal, that i have a pre-existing medical condition which does not allow for hormone altering medications.

she never believed me.
so now i go to an abortion clinic for my yearly checkups. and the nurses there are awesome.

my oral surgeon who is about to take out my wisdom tooth is rad.

he saw my tongue ring and said, how long have you had that? and i said, oh, about 10 years, and he said, oh great, so i don't have to warn you about chomping down on it. apparently he sees like 10 people a week with cracked teeth from biting on tongue barbells, but almost all of them are in the getting-used-to-it period. no tellings off.

i wish someone had warned me about the dangers of gum loss with the old style labret backs. i lost quite a bit on one of my toofs and that shit don't grow back.
