The poor dude was apparently nervous as hell, and his hands were shaking terribly. Why didn't he let the guy who is obviously more comfortable being on TV hold the cylinder?

I'm waiting for the part where Maxx comes back and sees all the sympathy for the guy and flips out.

"NO! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE FUN OF HIM! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?"

If you don't believe in magic, how is it suppose to believe in YOU? Your nay-saying disrupts the cosmic whirlwind of prayers to unicorns.

That seems staged. Normally, your voice shakes with your hands when you're nervous. I've never seen a case where the two were mutually exclusive.

I didn't think he was nervous. I know a lot of old people who just shake. I'm sure the condition has a name, but I'm just going to call it "getting old"

I think if it was staged the host guy would have had a clever one-liner ready... But then again maybe I'm giving him too much credit.

i shake without my voice shaking when nervous sometimes.... it's very rare that my voice ever shakes. i thought that was pretty common....

but yeah, didn't seem to me that he was nervous, rather just had shaky hands like some people (especially older, but not exclusively) people do....

It has to be a fake. Either that or the cameraperson is a sadistic bastard. Why the hell would they have such a close-up on the old guys hands? Or, get the other dude to hold the cylinder.

It's also weird that he breaks it right after he mentions how rare the part is.

The censorship is funny though.
