Well, if we are talking barley wine. Yeh, Old Crusty is definitely the best I've had. I have had no other of close merit.

i likes me some fancy imports. hefeweissen is my favorite type of beer. i've never met one i didn't like.

1. franziskaner
2.hoegaarden
3. lindemann's frambois
4. sam adam's winter brew or whatever it is called
5. yuengling (it's a good standby here in pgh. it's always cheap and on tap.)

blue moon is a pretty u.s. hefe-weisse type beer. not a fav though.
