I only wish Jeffrey Wright made mix tapes for Bond.
And told him to look out for the color pink as a clue!

And there was nudity. I swear to Jesus there was a vagina shot.

It's being debated at IMDb, If it was actually a vag shot or panties shot.

Did anyone else noticed that? Or am I just a perv? shocked

Curiously, I noticed that, and I'd put 5 bucks on it being a vagina. Guess we'll have to wait to freeze-frame the DVD.

Also, this is pretty off topic, but did you guys know you can see Sigourney Weaver's nipple in Ghostbusters? You totally can...

I am pretty sure they are doing with Quantum what the did with SPECTRE, I think it will be in a few movies and they have just been introducing it. I actually really enjoyed the new Bond movies, I think Daniel Craig is a far better Bond than Brosnan (sp?) ever was, I just wanted to pat him on the head and ask if his daddy made his Bond costume. I think that if Craig stays on as Bond for more movies the series will get the kick in the ass it has been needing since Connery

No nudity. Atleast from the females.

I did enjoy the movie. So much I drove fast on the way home. And gave everyine a surly look. And smiled at the ladies.

My main problem was the references to previous films said nothing and were listless and the editing/visual continuity was awful, obviously picking up the worst elements of the Bourne style.

Casino Royale was a far grittier Bond, but was pretty visually majestic.

This Bourne/Dark Night style of editing is just not very good.

Dark Knight? I thought that film looked fantastic. But I did hear complaints. On the fight sequences.

I enjoyed the fight and chase sequences, but I agree the whole thing about Quantum's goals could have been handled much better. Just one line about the scarcity of...the resource in question...would have helped the plot enormously. Without it, the plot has much less dramatic weight.

For a McGuffin to work, we have to understand it!

I find "shaky cam" action sequences irritating most of the time, particularly in the latter two Bourne films, but I could follow the ones in Quantum of Solace without much trouble, so I didn't mind.

The film wasn't bond enough to be interesting. Any up close and personal fight scene was badly made and showed little to no skill just brute force. I expect giant space lasers and huge 6'8 half man creatures in Bond, not were going to capture the world's water.

I concur with what everyone was saying. I don't necessarily have a problem with the Bourne style of camera editing, but it simply doesn't fit with Bond's gestalt. Bond relies on his wits more than his strength, and QoS doesn't showcase that. Instead we get a foggy idea of how he wins each fight scene. Actually, I think foggy is a good way to describe a lot of aspects of this film - the plot, characters, fight scenes, etc.

I hated the Dark Night fight sequences. I had no clue what was going on. Especially that fight on the train. I couldn't follow it.

I still like this better than most of the bond films made in my lifetime. I like that the wit is dry and subtle instead of blatant entendre and that the ridiculous gadgets have seemingly disappeared -- or at least the scenes with M in the lab have. The "gadgets" are more sophisticated in this series and are a bit more realistic. Fleming's bond was not a flamboyant playboy but a very ordinary, inconspicuous man in extraordinary environments. Bond became a caricature years ago and the movies so formulaic they were almost a mockery of themselves. It's nice to see a Bond film that isn't a cavalcade of gimmicks.

My only nitpick with Casino Royale is the poker scenes where Mathis constantly explains what is happening in the game.

I didn't like QoS as much as Casino Royale but it's a bridge and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I agree with this.

And the one thing that I really liked is that he never said, "Bond...James Bond."
