Underrated actors.

I don't know if anyone started a thread like this before.

I just have to mention Sam Rockwell again. He gives one of the most scary.
And haunting performances I seen in a while. His character in Snow Angels.
Was truly a work of great breathaking acting. If that makes any sense?

You know, I totally agree with you, but I just saw "The Happening" for the first time yesterday and everyone in that movie sucked so much shit I feel bad for them. I still think every single one of the actors involved in the pile of ass detritus is good; I'm just reevaluating my definition of what makes a good or bad actor in Hollywood (yet again).

I actually still want to see it. Even though I know what they try to outrun.

Don't. Really. It's one of the most poorly acted films I've ever watched.

Eric Roberts, but I blame his more famous sibling.
Ryan Gosling, especially in Lars and the Real Girl.

maybe he gets more credit than I think he does, but Viggo Mortensen is underrated. Ken Watanabe also. Nora Zehetner. Mandy Patankin. aaaaaand Michelle Monaghan. just off the top of my head.

I think he was brilliant in Half Nelson as well. Good call.

Laura Linney gives strong performances, quietly and consistently.
