A lot of the islands in Greece don't even have cars. The one motorized vehicle on the entire island is the trash truck, they use donkeys for everything else.

So in summation, I really love those, too.

My dream house is only about twenty-five by twenty-five feet, but it's three stories or more. Yeah.

The first floor is the combined kitchen/living room/dining room, plus laundry and a bathroom. The second floor is where the guest bedrooms and a computer room are. The top floor is taken up almost entirely by the master bedroom and the master bath, plus a roof-top porch. I drew it out one day at work.

Apparently I'm buying a girl I know a castle. It's a really sweet castle too. I just wish I could remember which one it is.

This is a hard choice.. as I've always wanted to live in a house that I designed myself.

Flux's choice seems a very good one. Otherwise..

The Steel House (located where I currently live) would be a nice choice.. or perhaps a Geodesic Dome of some kind.. due to my Buckminster Fuller obsession.

"In Xanadu, did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure dome decree
Where Alph the sacred river ran
through caverns measureless to man
down to a sunless sea."

My dreamhouse would have spiral staircases, hardwood floors, high ceilings, big european style doors and a sauna. The design would revolve around those features.

It shouldn't be such a surprise that Bacchus and Eris are alike, eh?

Remember Philip K. Dick.. Through a Scanner Darkly.. we must think -

I designed this one. The part with the bed goes on top of the bathroom/kitchen section. The other detached section is the basement. The whole thing is roughly 20 ft by 12 ft or so. The clothing storage will be under the stairs up to the loft, and the walls will mostly be bookshelves. biggrin
