...because nobody ever drank ye.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - MillerCoors LLC says goodbye to Zima.
The joint venture between SABMiller's U.S. unit and Molson Coors Brewing Co. told distributors in a letter Monday that production of the malt liquor beverage was discontinued as of Oct. 10.

Chief Marketing Officer Andy England says the decision was due to weakness in the "malternative" segment and declining consumer interest.

That was the first drink I got slightly buzzed on . . . when I was about 12.

It was a family party, and my cousins and I were able to steal them because nobody else would touch them tongue

Me too. I think I was a little younger, though. We when they first came out my brother convinced my parents they weren't alcoholic, and got them to buy a six pack. I sneaked three before the truth got out! eeek

I mourn Zima the same way I mourn the brown M&M, by saying, "who gives a shit?"

I drank a bunch of Zima one night in Lucerne. It was like 5 Swiss Francs per bottle.

Hey, I missed the brown M&M (and I was sorely disappointed when purple, my color of choice, didn't win the phone in vote they had).

All M&Ms are brown... eventually.

I drank so much ZIMA at a party once that I blacked out...once you are buzzed, and you have ice cold ZIMA, it is like drinking water. Needless to say , I was unsure how I got home that night, though I do remember puking on my friends lawn.

HAHA. This is great. My dad works for Coors. He said they couldn't give that stuff away. They were selling it for 4.50$ a case. A CASE. At the employee sales. But since they merged with Miller we get 3 free cases a month.WOOT

I enjoyed whatever my friends' older siblings would buy us when I was in high school. Zima, Boone's, Schnapps, Purple Passion; nothing was too low brow when you don't have a fake ID. And you live in KS.
