What is your favorite video game of this generation?

What game are you playing most right now?

I'll give two answers for each, because I'm like that...

A. Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

B. Metroid Prime, Super Smash Brothers Melee

C. Mario Kart Double Dash, Advance Wars

Earthbound, Legend of Zelda: ALTTP.

Legend of Zelda: TWW, Grandia II.

Mario Kart Double Dash, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

Even with 2 answers that's oversimplifying my answers waaay too much.

Also, my list needs more Galaga and Joust, so I'm adding favorite arcade games as a catagory. Mwahaha.

---

Giving up, making a list.

Galaga
Joust
Spy vs Spy
Bomberman 5
Dragon Warrior
Rampage
Phantasy Star IV
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy 3
Goldeneye
Contra / Super Contra
River City Ransom
Mega Man 2
Breath of Fire
Chrono Trigger
Marble Madness
Trog
Mario Kart
Ghosts and Goblins
Lufia
TMNT: Turtles In Time
Shining In the Darkness

When I got married I asked my bride, 'Do you perform fellatio?' She says it depends on the fella.

I have to give 3 answers for very different reasons.

1. The Civilisation series, because I'm actually GOOD at them. This is probably because reaction speed and hand/eye coordination isn't a factor in them.

2. Golden Axe, for the nostalgia value. And beating up little elves, c'mon.

3. The Monkey Island series for being incredibly funny, entertaining and addictive.

Not very up to date, am I?

YOU MENTIONED LUFIA. I LOVE THOSE GAMES.

I just got a GBA SP So I'm going to have to get the Lufia game. I hear it isn't as good as the SNES ones but still... IT'S MOTHER FUCKING LUFIA.

Yeah, it's a good game for a Lufia fix. But not quite as good as getting to play the originals.

The original Lufia game is probably one of my top 5 games of all time. I used to play the intro over and over. It was so sad! That music is sooooo good too. It made me cry.

GTA Vice City is easily the greatest game ever made.

I'm also partial to the following...

Metal Gear Solid
Ninja Gaiden
The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past
the entire Super Mario Bros. series
the entire EA Sports NHL series
the entire Metroid series

I'm sure there are a crap load more...
