I don't usually play much Second Life and when I do I am just exploring and hunting around for useful items-- sort of like a Zork with out a quest or Grues. This week they are doing "Burining Life", their take on the Burning man. It has been pretty damn cool. I've been collecting landmarks of neat places to visit and explore in the future.

Anyone else playing around in "Burning Life"?

That sounds like everything I hate in one convenient place. Are there libertarians and people drinking Cosmopolitans too?

Those furries on acid certainly make some neat stuff, though.

Given the fact that it is pretty much each individual building giant testaments to their own "world" in secondlife and urging you to visit their little world when the festival is over; yes, it is will fulfill all your hate needs not only in one place, but you can do it in the comfort (discomfort?) of your own home.

Don't you know that their form of nerdyness is far superior to your and anyone else's nerdyness? N00b.
